The Core New England Method

When you decide to undergo testosterone replacement therapy, you will need to make sure that the medical professionals providing you with this treatment are providing you with comprehensive monitoring. At Core New England, our clinical standards are based off of our many years of medical experience with thousands of patients seen weekly, and from evidence-based medicine from current literature and studies.

It is our belief that testosterone therapy injectables are a much more suitable form of testosterone treatment for our patients’ modern lifestyles and personal goals. We find that testosterone levels are best maintained when patients receive injections once a week, or sometimes even twice a week, when this is needed. In contrast, many other doctors only provide injections every two to four weeks. The problem with waiting so long between treatments is that this can result in large fluctuations in your testosterone levels, which can hurt your results. With Testosterone Cypionate having a half-life of just 5 to 8 days, the injection will not last long enough to help you stay at the testosterone levels that are needed for effective treatment.

It is important to remember that your estradiol (or estrogen) levels must be kept in check whenever you boost your testosterone levels. You can end up suffering negative consequences if your body has either too much or too little estradiol. At Core New England, we work to help you find the perfect balance of estradiol and testosterone for your body.

Another thing that we carefully monitor is the patient’s natural testosterone production signals. These signals can sometimes decline when testosterone is added to the body from an outside source. We work to preserve testosterone product signals in our patients, particularly through the use of gonadal stimulating therapy, which copies those signals.

If you are taking testosterone-boosting pellets, creams, or gels but you are not using gonadal stimulating therapy at the same time, you may be doing harm to your body’s own testosterone production capabilities. Possible negative effects include testicle atrophy and the slowing or complete stop of natural sperm and testosterone production. There are unfortunately many physicians out there who do not implement gonadal stimulating therapy into their patients’ testosterone replacement therapies as they should.

As part of our focus on TRT, we also believe that all men should maintain healthy thyroid function. Since the symptoms for both hypogonadism and hypothyroidism are very similar, it is important that thyroid dysfunction is part of your treatment, if needed.

Find Out What Our Patients Report

In addition to reporting that they feel healthier and stronger, many of our patients at Core New England also report feeling sexier – just like how they felt when they were at their physical, mental, and sexual primes. These are the types of results that occur when patients correct their deficient hormones.

Our TRT protocols work to halt and reverse the hormonal decline (andropause) that causes many men to experience serious declines in their strength, energy levels, sexual desire, and sexual performance. With testosterone replacement, patients can restore their sexual capabilities and improve their general well-being.

Most primary care physicians do not understand the crucial role that testosterone plays in our sexual health. Clinical studies have shown that most men who suffered from low testosterone experienced less erectile dysfunction and more sex drive once they received TRT.

We don’t just mask the symptoms!

Most standard medical practices focus on treating symptoms of Low T (such as with medications like Viagra or Cialis) when they should really be addressing the underlying low testosterone / hormone-related problems. Our physician at Core New England offers tested and proven solutions that can actually help eliminate the causes rather than just mask them with the use of Viagra or Cialis. The focus is on preventing problems related to low hormones in addition to improving the patient’s overall quality of life.

We prefer the use of Testosterone Cypionate Injections, which are administered usually weekly in our office, though you can also do your injections at home. Very rarely will we use testosterone implants / pellets, gels, creams (AndroGel or Testim), or testosterone patches. Unfortunately, too many men do not get any recognizable results with these treatment options. We believe the incidence of side effects increases with transdermal or topical administration of testosterone. Estradiol (estrogen) tends to increase markedly with topical use versus injectable use, via the aromatase enzymes in the subcutaneous layers. As a result, our professionals at our clinic discourage their use. With testosterone injections, side effects are very minimal and rare with our protocols. Mild acne is the most popular side effect from testosterone injections, and that is a rare and minimal event that we treat right away when it does occur.

Lastly, but very importantly, there is a huge difference between our TRT protocols and the use of anabolic steroids / HGH. We will not prescribe anabolic steroids or HGH, so please do not ask – they have no place in hormone replacement therapy. If you ask for these, you will instantly be disqualified for therapy without exception.

How to Qualify for Our Testosterone Replacement Therapies

Men only qualify for our testosterone replacement therapies when they are hypogonadal or in andropause. We will deny treatment for any man seeking therapy for bodybuilding, anti-aging, or athletic purposes. If you do not test low for testosterone, you will not qualify. There is no exception to this rule. While exercising, weight training, and diet are important, they are not reasons for TRT. Rather, they are merely recommended activities suggested to help you regain your health. See our Facebook page for tips and suggestions!

TRT is not the same as anabolic steroid use. Your body produces testosterone; it does not produce anabolic steroids. Steroids do not offer the safe medical benefits that TRT does. TRT involves the safe replacement of testosterone to optimized physiological levels always within the reference range for men. Anabolic steroid use always includes super-physiological levels of hormone use to build muscle.

We prescribe only the necessary minimal dosages of testosterone and adjunct medicine to restore hormones to their optimal levels in men who have been diagnosed with a testosterone deficiency. It is a process of restoration or replacement, as it is commonly called.

Instead of synthetic HGH, we offer Sermorelin GHRP2 and GHRP6 Therapy, a natural, inexpensive, and safe Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide (GHRP) that enables your body to release your own HGH into circulation. Sermorelin GHRP2 and GHRP6 are beneficial to us, as they enable a safe and natural amount of our HGH to circulate throughout our body. New science is leading to the conclusion that our own naturally pulsed HGH has many disease-fighting factors that synthetic HGH simply does not.
